1. Ruta del Cares, Picos de Europa
My absolute favorite hike in Asturias, and I think it is a must-do for nature lovers who visit Asturias. The most popular part of the route is from Poncebos to Caín which is about 24 km or 6-8 hours for a round trip. So, it is the longest route I have here and the most “difficult” but I think it is 100% worth it!

2. Ruta de las Xanas, Villanueva
This route is called the “mini Ruta del Cares” because it includes a walk between high rocky mountains but it is a lot shorter and easier than Cares.
At the end of the way there is a small town where you can stop to have a drink or eat lunch!
